PokerAce – The Asian Online Poker Room – Signs WSOP Bracelet winner and 2012 Main Event finalist Steve Gee

PokerAce – The Asian Online Poker Room – signs professional poker player, World Series of Poker bracelet winner and 2012 WSOP Main Event finalist, Steve Gee.

Steve said “I am super excited to join Joe Hachem, JC Tran and Nam Le representing PokerAce and am looking forward to playing more tournaments in Asia over the coming year.”

Steve Gee was born in China and immigrated to the US when he was 6. Gee was raised and educated in the US and considers himself an American of Chinese decent.

2010 saw Gee win his first World Series of Poker Bracelet and $472,479 in prize money. The 2012 WSOP brought Gee back to the tournament felt to play the $10,000 NLHE World Championship Main Event, a decision that would ultimately change his life forever. He made it all the way to the final table, guaranteeing himself a minimum payout of $754,798 and the chance to play for the first place prize of $8,527,982. Gee has the distinction of being the oldest player at the 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event final table at 57 years old. He has more years of playing experience than most of his competitors have been alive, and he will head to the final table in October fifth in chips with 16,860,000.
