Tournaments
PokerAce offers many different types of tournaments featuring a wide range of buy-ins to suit all bankrolls. These are open to everyone and are running all day long.
Scheduled Tournament
A scheduled tournament is a tournament that starts at a specific time regardless of the number of players registered. To find the scheduled tournaments, please open the Lobby and click on the tab Tourney> Scheduled.

Also, please note that you can sort the tournament list by the following headings:
- Tournament – Sort the game list by tournament name.
- Start Date – Sort the game list by the time and date a tournament begins.
- Game – Sort the game list by game type.
- $ – Sort the game list by currency.
- Buy-in – Sort the game list by the buy-in and fee of the tournament.
- Plrs. – Sort the game list by the number of players in each tournament.
- Status – Sort the game list by the status of each tournament.
Scheduled Tournament Types
PokerAce offers its players a variety of scheduled tournaments including Full Ring Tournaments (9 players per table), Shorthanded Tournaments (6 players per table) and Heads-up Tournaments (2 players).
Freeroll Tournaments – A freeroll is a tournament featuring a prizepool added by PokerAce. Players can win real money for free as the tournament is completely free to enter.
Freeze out Tournaments – these tournaments are the most common on PokerAce. Starting stacks and blind structures can vary depending on the buy-in.
Rebuy Tournaments – These tournaments have a ‘Rebuy’ period where players can purchase additional chips if their stack size is under a specific amount. In addition, players can purchase an ‘Add-on’ at the end of the rebuy period and will receive extra-chips on top of their stack (regardless of the players stack size).
1R1A Tournaments – Similar to the rebuy tournaments format, this type of tournament has a rebuy period but players can purchase additional chips only once. Players will also be allowed to purchase an ‘Add-on’ at the end of the rebuy period and will receive extra-chips on top of their stack (regardless of the players stack size).
Turbo Tournaments – Turbo Tournaments are quicker than regular tournaments. Blind levels go up every 5 minutes which is twice as fast as a standard tournament. Starting stacks can vary depending on the event.
X-Turbo Tournaments – X-Turbo’s are super-fast tournaments featuring a 300 chip starting stack and 5 minutes blinds levels.
Deep Stack Tournaments – Deep Stack Tournaments are freeze out tournaments featuring a 5,000 chip starting stack which is bigger than standard freeze out tournaments.
Monster Stack Tournaments – Monster Stack Tournaments are freeze out tournaments featuring a 10,000 chip starting stack and a very slow blind level structure.
Sit’n'Go Tournaments
A Sit’n'Go tournaments start as soon as the number of players required are registered. All PokerAce standard Sit & Go’s feature a 2,000 chip starting stack and 10 minutes blinds levels.
To find the Sit’n'Go tournaments, please open the lobby and click on the tab Tourney> Sit & Go.
